Aarhus Office (before 1970)
Århus Amt (named after the city of Århus ) was one of the offices in Denmark at that time until the Danish municipal reform on April 1, 1970 .
Aarhus Office consisted of six Harden ( Danish : Herred ):
With the municipal reform in 1970, the area was divided into six municipalities :
Seven municipalities were added to these, which were formed from the northern part of the Skanderborg office :
In addition, the island of Samsø ( Samsø Kommune ) was added to the Århus Office, which had previously belonged to the Holbæk Office , as well as the Randers Office , with the exception of Hobro and some surrounding parishes , which went to the Nordjyllands Amt . All of these areas together became the “new” Århus Office , which was opened up with the 2007 municipal reform in the Midtjylland region
