Galten Municipality was until December 2006 a Danish municipality in what was then the Århus Office in East Jutland . Since January 2007 it has been part of the new Skanderborg Municipality together with the previous Skanderborg Municipality , Hørning Municipality , Ry Municipality and the eastern part of the Voerladegård parish of Brædstrup Municipality .
Galten Municipality was created in the course of the Danish administrative reform of 1970 and comprised the following Sogn :
