Until December 2006, Rønde Kommune was a Danish municipality on the Djursland peninsula in eastern Jutland in what was then the Århus Office . Since January 2007 it has been part of the newly formed Syddjurs municipality together with the municipalities of Ebeltoft , Midtdjurs and Rosenholm .

Rønde municipality was created as part of the administrative reform of 1970 and included the following Sogn :

• Feldballe Sogn (rural community Feldballe)
• Thorsager Sogn and Bregnet Sogn (rural community Thorsager-Bregnet )
