Midtdjurs Municipality was until December 2006 a Danish municipality on the Djursland peninsula in eastern Jutland in what was then the Århus Office . Since January 2007 it has been part of the newly formed Syddjurs municipality together with the municipalities of Ebeltoft , Rosenholm and Rønde .
Midtdjurs municipality was created in the course of the administrative reform of 1970 and comprised the following Sogne :
- Nødager Sogn (rural municipality of Nødager)
- Kolind Sogn , Ebdrup Sogn and Skarresø Sogn (rural municipality Kolind-Ebdrup-Skarresø )
- Marie Magdalene Sogn and Koed Sogn (rural community Marie Magdalene-Koed )
- Nimtofte Sogn and Tøstrup Sogn (rural municipality Nimtofte-Tøstrup )
