Rougsø Kommune was until December 2006 a Danish municipality on the Djursland peninsula in eastern Jutland in what was then the Århus Office . Since January 2007 it has been part of the newly formed Norddjurs municipality together with Grenaa Municipality , Nørre Djurs Municipality and the eastern part of Sønderhald Municipality .
Rougsø Kommune was created in the course of the administrative reform of 1970 and comprised the following Sogn :
- Ørsted Sogn (rural municipality Ørsted)
- Gjesing Sogn and Nørager Sogn (rural municipality Gjesing-Nørager )
- Holbæk Sogn and Udby Sogn (rural municipality Holbæk-Udby )
- Vivild Sogn and Vejlby Sogn (rural municipality Vivild-Vejlby )
- Voer Sogn and Estruplund Sogn (rural municipality Voer-Estruplund )
