Norddjurs Municipality is a Danish municipality in East Jutland . It was created on January 1, 2007 in the course of local government reform through the merger of the previous municipalities of Grenaa , Nørre Djurs and Rougsø as well as the eastern part of the municipality of Sønderhald , all in the Århus Office .
Norddjurs municipality has a total population of 37,089 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020) and an area of 721.00 km². It is part of the Midtjylland region .
