Lemvig Kommune is a Danish municipality in Jutland . It was created on January 1, 2007 in the course of local government reform by merging the "old" Lemvig municipality with the previous municipality of Thyborøn-Harboøre in the Ringkjøbing office .

Lemvig municipality has a total population of 19,722 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020) and an area of ​​508.70 km². It is part of the Midtjylland region . The seat of the administration is in Lemvig .
