Lemvig Municipality was a Danish municipality in what was then Ringkjøbing Office in Jutland until December 2006 . Since January 2007 it has been part of the new Lemvig municipality together with Thyborøn-Harboøre Municipality .

Lemvig Municipality was newly formed as part of the administrative reform of 1970 and comprised the following Sogn :
