Brande Kommune was a Danish municipality in what was then Ringkjøbing Amt in Jutland until December 2006 . Since January 2007 it has been part of the newly formed Ikast-Brande municipality together with the former municipalities of Nørre-Snede and Ikast .

The textile trading company Bestseller is based in Brande .
