Until December 2006, Ringkøbing Municipality was a Danish municipality in what was then Ringkjøbing Office in Jutland . In January 2007 it was merged with the municipalities of Holmsland , Skjern , Videbæk and Egvad to form Ringkøbing-Skjern Municipality .
