Korup Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Fyn ( German : Funen ) in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to the Harde Odense Herred in the then Odense Office , then to the Odense Municipality in the Fyns Office , which became part of the Syddanmark region on January 1, 2007 as part of the municipal reform .

The parish of Korup is home to 4640 people, mostly from Odense . However, 30 residents of the small town of Bredbjerg also live here, which extends from Vigerslev Sogn in the neighboring Nordfyns municipality to the west and into the parish. (As of January 1, 2020). In the parish is the church "Korup Kirke".

Neighboring communities are Næsbyhoved-Broby Sogn in the north, Paarup Sogn in the south-east, Ubberud Sogn in the south and Vigerslev Sogn in the west.
