Tornbjerg Kirke

Tornbjerg Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) in the southeast of the city of Odense on the island of Fyn ( German : Funen ) in southern Denmark . It was created on January 1, 1992 by splitting off from Fraugde Sogn . This had belonged to Harde Odense Herred in what was then Odense Office until 1970 , then to Odense Municipality in Fyns Office , which became part of the Syddanmark region on January 1, 2007 as part of the local government reform .

Of the 180,302 inhabitants of Odense, 7244 live in the parish of Tornbjerg (as of January 1, 2020). The church "Tornbjerg Kirke" is located in the parish.

Neighboring communities are in the northwest Sanderum Sogn , in the northeast Åsum Sogn , in the east Fraugde Sogn , in the south Højby Sogn and in the west Hjallese Sogn .
