Fraugde Kirke

Fraugde Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Fyn ( German : Funen ) in southern Denmark . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Åsum Herred in what was then Odense Office , then to Odense Municipality in Fyns Office , which became part of the Syddanmark region on January 1, 2007 as part of local government reform .

4,148 inhabitants live in the parish, 1922 of them in the parish (as of January 1, 2020). The church “Fraugde Kirke” is located in the parish.

Neighboring communities are Åsum Sogn in the north, Tornbjerg Sogn in the north- west, Allerup Sogn in the south-west and Davinde Sogn in the south-east , and Marslev Sogn commune in the neighboring Kerteminde commune to the east and Sønder Nærå Sogn commune in the neighboring Faaborg-Midtfyn commune in the south .
