Munkebjerg Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) in the city of Odense on the island of Fyn ( German : Funen ) in southern Denmark . Until 1970 she belonged to the Harde Odense Herred in the then Odense Office , then to the Odense Municipality in the Fyns Office , which became part of the Syddanmark region on January 1, 2007 as part of the municipal reform .

Of the 180,302 inhabitants of Odense, 8,731 live in the parish of Munkebjerg (as of January 1, 2020). The church "Munkebjerg Kirke" is located in the parish.

Neighboring communities are Sankt Knuds Sogn in the north, Korsløkke Sogn in the east, Hjallese Sogn in the south and Thomas Kingos Sogn in the west .
