Seden Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on Odense Fjord on the island of Fyn ( German : Funen ) in southern Denmark . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Åsum Herred in what was then Odense Office , then to Odense Municipality in Fyns Office , which became part of the Syddanmark region on January 1, 2007 as part of local government reform . Also since 2007 the parish village of Seden with previously 3743 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2006) is statistically considered as a district of Odense .
The parish has 5707 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020). The church "Seden Kirke" is located in the parish.
Neighboring communities are Agedrup Sogn in the east, Åsum Sogn in the southeast , Vollsmose Sogn in the southwest and Fredens Sogn in the west .
