Awarded the Nestroy Theater Prize 2005

The Nestroy Awards 2005 was the sixth award of the Nestroy Theater Prize and took place on November 26, 2005 in the Volkstheater (Vienna) . Of the winners in a total of 11 categories, 4 were announced in advance, the remaining 7 only at the award gala.

Maria Bill and Michael Schottenberg acted as moderators of the gala .

This year saw the first Ex eaquo result within a category. Michael Maertens and Nicholas Ofczarek both won in the Best Actor category, only Tobias Moretti , who was also nominated , was left empty-handed.
