Rupert Henning
Rupert Henning (born December 24, 1967 in Klagenfurt ) is an Austrian author and actor .
Life
In 1986 Henning graduated from high school. He then studied history and English at the University of Vienna . In addition to his studies, he also trained as an actor and director.
Henning has been working as an author since 1984, including for television and radio in various genres, and also as a translator. Since 1986, Henning has also worked as an actor and director for various stages (for example Theater in der Josefstadt , Theater Drachengasse , Graumann Theater, Studiobühne Villach, Schauspielensemble Wien).
In 2009, Rupert Henning founded the Academy of Austrian Films together with other Austrian filmmakers , and he is a member of the board.
Henning is married to the stage and film actress, presenter and former politician Mercedes Echerer .
