Austrian Cabaret Prize

The Austrian Cabaret Prize is awarded in the categories "Main Prize" and "Sponsorship Prize" and is endowed with 7,500 euros each . From 1986 to 1988 the award ceremony took place annually, from 1988 only every two years.

After the Cabaret Award 1994 has been set, found himself in 2004 with Premiere Austria , a new sponsor, so that with him after 10 year break artists can be awarded. The honorary chairman of the 19-member jury is Peter Blau .
