Till Firit ( Nestroy Theater Prize 2013 )

Till Firit (born March 10, 1977 in Leipzig ) is a German actor, audio book speaker and producer.

Life

Till Firit received his training at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Stuttgart. He completed his studies there in 2003 and then played in the ensemble of the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus . Since 2006 he has been a member of the Vienna Volkstheater ensemble . From the 2016/17 season he is a permanent member of the Munich Residenztheater .

In addition to his work as an actor, he is the speaker of audio books . In 2008 he and his brother Ben Firit founded Mono Verlag , an audio book publisher based in Vienna . He is not only active there as a speaker, but also as a producer and director. Till Firit is also the drummer for the band “Digitale Immigranten”.

Till Firit has been speaking the podcasts for the German representation of Amnesty International since 2012 .

• 2013 Nestroy Theater Prize : Best supporting role for his portrayal of the landowner Lewin in the stage version by Anna Karenina
