Viktoria Schubert

Viktoria Schubert , also Victoria , Vicky or Vicki , (born October 16, 1962 in Vienna ) is an Austrian actress and theater director .

Life

Viktoria Schubert studied psychology at the University of Vienna from 1981 to 1984 , and from 1984 to 1987 she attended the seminar for drama education at the Vienna Volkstheater . She then belonged to the ensemble of the Volkstheater until 1999, where she was awarded the Karl Skraup Prize as the best young actress in 1989 and taught in the seminar for drama pedagogy. From 1997 to 2000 she had guest roles at the Theater in der Josefstadt .

On ORF she was seen in the television series Tohuwabohu from 1994 to 1998 , from 2000 to 2008 she embodied the role of Frau Horak in Trautmann , from 2005 to 2010 she played Isolde Kupfner in Four Women and One Death .

Since 1994 she has also worked as a freelance director and has since staged mainly comedies, musicals and cabaret programs, at the Vienna Volkstheater among others the Nestroy posse Der Färber and his twin brother , Rose's secret by Neil Simon , out of control by Ray Cooney and moonlight and magnolias by Ron Hutchinson. At the Filmhof Weinviertel in Asparn an der Zaya , she set the piece California Suite by Neil Simon in scenze in 2017, in which she also played one of the leading roles alongside Eva Maria Marold , Stephan Koch and Michael Rosenberg. In 2018 she performed there at Will Not Be Paid! Directed by Dario Fo . In 2019, as part of the Laxenburg Cultural Summer, she staged the play Traumschiff - Everything goes wrong by Christian Deix and Olivier Lendl under artistic director Adi Hirschal, and in 2020 at the Waldviertler Hoftheater the play Die Niere by Stefan Vögel with Doris Hindinger , Alexander Jagsch , Martin Leutgeb and Christina Sprenger .

In the musical I am from Austria at the Raimund Theater in Vienna , she plays the role of Elfie Schratt as a walk-in cover for the first cast Dolores Schmidinger .
