Kristina Sprenger
Kristina Sprenger (born July 26, 1976 in Innsbruck ) is an Austrian actress .
Life
Kristina is the second of three daughters of the forest engineer and former Vice Mayor of Innsbruck, Eugen Sprenger, and his wife Maria. In 1996 she began her acting training at the Vienna Conservatory and graduated in 2000 with honors. As part of her training, Elfriede Ott's student gained her first experience on stage.
Sprenger made her first experience with a role on television in the crime series Kommissar Rex , in which she had a brief appearance as a police officer. With her participation in the talent show Casting 2000 of the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation , she attracted attention that year.
From 2001 to 2013 she played the main female role as investigator Karin Kofler in the ORF / ZDF crime series SOKO Kitzbühel . With a total of 13 seasons she is the longest investigative television commissioner in Austria. At the 2003 Romy Awards , Sprenger was voted the most popular female shooting star. In 2006 she played a pregnant woman in Joseph Vilsmaier's Das Weihnachtssekel at the side of Ruth Drexel , whom she already knew from theater roles.
She is socially committed as a child sponsor of Light for the World , where disabled children in developing countries are supported.
Since summer 2014 she has been the artistic director at the Berndorf City Theater .
Private
After her long-standing relationship with the folk musician Hubert Trenkwalder , she presented herself in February 2008 at the side of the actor Sascha Wussow as his new friend. In June 2008 the couple separated.
Sprenger has been in a relationship with the Viennese manager Gerald Gerstbauer since around November 2009. Their daughter was born on December 14, 2010. In September 2011 the couple got married in Dürnstein ; the church wedding took place in Bad Vöslau . The family lives in Sooss .
