Alexander Jagsch (born May 30, 1970 in Vienna ) is an Austrian actor , writer and director .

Life

After training at the drama school of the Volkstheater Wien , he had his first engagement in Munich and returned to Austria after a year, where he worked at the Volkstheater Wien, the Theater in der Josefstadt , the Reichenau Festival , the Salzburg State Theater and the Schlossspiele Kobersdorf and also in music theater, such as the Volksoper Vienna or the Theater an der Wien . After being a permanent member of the ensemble at the Phönix Theater in Linz for two years , he returned to Vienna, where he has lived and worked ever since.

Alexander Jagsch became known through the television series Eine Couch für alle (2010) and Schlawiner (2011-2013). He was also seen for some time in a commercial for the Merkur supermarket chain and in 2016 as a testimonial for Hutchison-Drei .

Alexander Jagsch presented his first play in 2015 with a change of scene - a piece of relationship .

Jagsch is in a relationship with the actress Doris Hindinger , they met in 2001 while shooting the film Arabesques around Frosch by Paul Harather .

honors and awards

For his portrayal of Leopold in the White Horse , he was awarded the "Bronzen Pinter" and his first directorial work Rechts Um at the Phönix Theater was awarded the Upper Austrian Culture Prize.
