action

1st act

Emma Carter, a Hollywood star with Austrian roots, is returning to her home country for the Vienna Opera Ball to promote her new film "In the Chaos of Emotions 4". She would like to stay incognito in the four-and-a-half-star hotel "Edler", from which the hotel manager Romy Edler hopes for a fifth star. With a tweet from the page Felix, who, despite the ban by the director, reveals Emma Carter's accommodation to the public, the Viennese high society storms the hotel in order to gain an advantage from the film star ( Schickeria ). The principal's son takes the blame to protect Felix. In the following argument, he accuses his parents of too conservative business thinking and describes the vision of a new, modern hotel ( nothing is fix ). He reveals to his parents that he was able to win the Argentine soccer striker Pablo García as a star guest for the opening of the newly designed fitness area and promises to apologize to the famous guest with a noble cake.

Meanwhile, Emma Carter tries to explain to her manager Richard Rattinger why she doesn't want to go to the opera ball because she can't stand it in the country. She also turns down Pablo García, who has a second deal, as a partner for the ball. When Richard leaves the suite, she sings about an argument with her parents that made her go to Hollywood, and her main problem: she doesn't know where she is at home ( where do I belong ). Josi Edler secretly enters the suite to put down the cake, is caught by Emma Carter and the two get closer.

Meanwhile, Romy Edler complains that her husband Wolfgang, who is apparently having an affair, is behaving in an “adolescent” manner ( midlife crisis ). Instead, he accuses her of only caring about business and less about marriage.

On a tour of the hotel, Josi Edler shows Emma Carter the patisserie in which the Edlertorte is made. By accident, both are locked in the refrigerator and Emma Carter reveals not only that her real name is Adele Waldvogel, but also that she had no chance in the film business with her brown hair color ( blond ). Richard Rattinger, who is hysterically looking for his star, and Josi's parents free both of them and Emma tells her manager that she wants to go to the opera ball with Josi. Therefore he tries to disturb Josi's self-confidence upon arrival and Pablo's self-presentation ( macho, macho ). Josi is bent on seeking advice from his father. Through an incident between him and his wife Romy, Josi can gain new confidence and invites Emma Carter on a trip through Vienna at night, during which she is harassed by a crowd of fans at the end.

2nd act

Emma and Josi wake up in Felix's room, who was able to rescue them from the emergency during the night. As a thank you, he can take a long-awaited joyride in Josi's new sports car. After Emma told Josi that she has had no contact with them since the argument with her parents, Josi has to go because he is too late to open the new fitness area. Meanwhile, the Edlers try to reassure the manager Emma. The police search the hotel and town and can only find a ladle that Emma used to look after the homeless the night before ( raid ). When the supposed lover Wolfgang shows up in the scene, Romy bursts her collar and she confronts her husband, who rejects all allegations. She leaves injured.

Josi is eagerly awaited in the fitness area. To keep the impatient journalists happy, chief concierge Elfie and Pablo García stage an improvised show ( Long live sport ). After the show, Emma and Elfie reveal that they have planned a surprise for Josi, who made it to the opening at the last moment: Emma and Josi fly through Austria to the Großglockner in a helicopter. Overwhelmed by the beauty of the landscape, she realizes that Austria is her home ( I am from Austria ).

After spending the night together in the Waldvogel family's hut, the next morning the paparazzi surrounding the house, who can take photos of the naked film star with their lover. Horrified, she puts the blame on Josi, because she interprets it as a PR gag . She is freed by Richard and taken back to the hotel.

Felix, who appears disturbed in the hotel, tells Elfie and Pablo about his car accident that he had with Josi's sports car ( two-way relationship ).

At the hotel, Josi tries to explain to Emma that he is innocent, but is stopped by Richard, who tells him to forget about her because she will announce her engagement to Pablo García at the Opera Ball. Injured, he sings about how he can never forget her and can also convince his parents, who have found him and have doubts about the relationship with the star, of his love. Then Wolfgang confesses to his wife that the supposed lover is an employee of a travel agency and that he had planned a trip as a surprise for Romy. Horrified by her own allegations, she apologizes to him. She declares love for him and they make up.

Emma is shocked by Richard's idea of announcing her engagement to Pablo García as a media coup at the Opera Ball. He blackmails her that only if she announces the connection and violates Josi, he'll buy the photos back before they end up on the Internet. Emma realizes that Richard has hired the paparazzi.

While Felix confesses the car accident to Josi in the lobby, Elfie's phone rings: Emma is ready to talk to Josi. They meet secretly in the patisserie. Emma tries to part with Josi, but is overwhelmed by her feelings towards him ( Weus'd a heart have wia a mine ) . Finally she runs away.

At the Vienna Opera Ball, Emma, who appears with Pablo at her side, starts to make the announcement in front of the cameras. But when she sees Josi in the crowd, she decides to publicly acknowledge her love for Josi, who is happy about the union. Moved by the declaration of love , Pablo García also comes out as gay in front of the cameras. Emma eventually fires her manager.

Wolfgang finally hands Romy the letter about the award of the fifth star. However, both hand over the management to their son Josi so that they have more time to themselves.
