Iréna Flury

Iréna Flury (born March 9, 1984 in Vienna ) is an actress who has both Austrian and Swiss citizenship.

Life

Iréna Flury is the daughter of the flautist of the Vienna Philharmonic Dieter Flury . From 2003 to 2007 she attended the conservatory in Vienna and graduated with a diploma. She worked in some well-known films, series ( Der Winzerkönig ) and plays in the Vienna Metropol . She was seen in the role of Verena Huber in the Austrian daily soap Mitten im 8en , which flopped and was discontinued soon after. This was followed by engagements at the Vienna Theater of Youth , the TAG Theater and various summer stages, and most recently in the musical world premiere, Die Schweizermacher in Zurich . In 2012 Iréna Flury was seen at the Renaissance Theater Vienna as Gerda in Die Schneekönigin (director: Thomas Birkmeir ), as well as in the Swiss film Eine wen iig - Dr Dällebach Kari , directed by Xavier Koller . Since 2016 she has played the advertising character as "common sense" for the supermarket chain Billa . Since the premiere of the Rainhard Fendrich musical I am from Austria in September 2017 at the Raimund Theater in Vienna , she has played the leading female role of Emma Carter.
