Lukas Perman (born October 24, 1980 in Braunau am Inn ; actually Lukas Permanschlager ) is an Austrian singer and actor.

Life

Lukas Perman, then still Permanschlager, visited the school in arts in Salzburg and graduated in 1999 with honors his graduation from. Then he began to study singing at the Mozarteum in Salzburg. After a year he moved to the Vienna Conservatory and began studying acting, singing and dance at the department for "Musical Entertainment Theater", which he graduated with honors in 2004.

Lukas Perman took part in the casting show " Starmania " organized by ORF in 2002 and was among the twelve finalists. A short time later he brought out his first single "When the Evening Falls" (it reached number 9 in the single charts ). In 2003 he was engaged at the Theater an der Wien for the musical production "Elisabeth" . In 2005 he was seen in the title role of the German-language premiere of the musical "Romeo and Juliet" at the Raimund Theater in Vienna . In 2005 he released his first solo CD "Hier im Jetzt" (single release: "24 hours"). With the single "These Are My Rivers" Lukas Perman and Marjan Shaki made it to number 3 in the Austrian charts. In 2007, the musical production "Elisabeth" (in German) with the Vereinigte Bühnen Wien took him on a ten-week tour through Japan. In the following years Lukas Perman was engaged almost exclusively for productions and concerts in Japan. In January 2008 he played the role of Philip de Chandon in Japanese in the Japanese version of Maurey Yeston's “Phantom” . This was followed by an engagement at the Vienna Volksoper in the musical " My Fair Lady " as Freddy . From 2009 to 2011 Lukas Perman was seen as Alfred in the new Viennese version of Roman Polanski's “Tanz der Vampire” at the Ronacher in Vienna .

In March 2012 Lukas Perman released the CD "LUFT und LIEBE" together with Marjan Shaki (as a duo Marjan & Lukas).

In 2013, he appeared in the eighth season of Dancing Stars and took third place as a finalist. His partner was Kathrin Menzinger . From June 2013 to January 2014 he returned to the musical and played Crown Prince Rudolf again in the musical "Elisabeth" ; to be seen in the Raimund Theater . In 2017 he played Josi Edler in the musical I am from Austria . In 2019 he returned in the role of Dr. Roger Fleuriot returned to the Vienna Volksoper in the play My Sister and I.

In addition to his artistic work as an actor and singer, Lukas Perman studied General Management at the Danube University Krems and obtained the academic degree of a in 2015 with a master's thesis on "The magdas Hotel in Vienna - A Social Business Project for the Integration of Refugees into the Labor Market" Master of Business Administration (MBA).

Perman is married to Marjan Shaki and has two daughters.

On March 3, 2010, Lukas Perman and Marjan Shaki organized a charity gala “Together for Haiti” in Vienna's Ronacher for the benefit of the earthquake victims in Haiti , at which artists from various fields performed. A second gala, “Musical hits with original Viennese cast”, followed on May 11, 2011 at the Ronacher in Vienna, to which Lukas Perman and Marjan Shaki invited colleagues from the musical field. Further sequels took place on March 25, 2013 (“Viennese musical hits with star cast”) and May 19, 2014 (“The greatest musical hits from Kunze & Levay”). In the years 2015 to 2018, the "Musical Christmas" benefit galas followed in favor of the Superar association (musical support for children and young people).
