Marc Camoletti (Author)
Marc Camoletti (born November 16, 1923 in Geneva , † July 18, 2003 in Deauville ) was a French playwright and theater director for the boulevard theater . His most famous work is Boeing-Boeing .
Marc Camoletti, scion of a Swiss family of architects with Italian roots, grew up in Paris . He started painting, which he gave up for writing. This was made easier because his first play, Die Perle Anna ( La bonne Anna ), was accepted by the then Théatre des Capucines in 1958. He became world famous with Boeing-Boeing in 1960, not least because of the film of the same name . He liked to direct his plays himself; of the numerous film adaptations of his work, he was only responsible for Duos sur canapé (written 1972, filmed 1979).
