Peter Vilnai

Peter Vilnai (born June 17, 1945 in Eggenburg , Lower Austria ) is an Austrian actor .

Life

Peter Vilnai already took part in school theater performances during his time at the boarding school. After training at a technical college and at the Krauss drama school in Vienna , he made his debut in 1974 at the Bregenz Theater for Vorarlberg . Guest performances took him to the Theater Tribüne and Die Courage in Vienna, where he was a member of the Volkstheater ensemble from 1978 and was awarded the Karl Skraup Prize in the category of best youngsters / supporting roles in the 1978/79 season . He also received the award for the Kainz Medal . In 1983 he played the role of Ernö Keleman in the television series Ringstrasse Palace. The audio book he spoke, The World of Yesterday - Memories of a European. by Stefan Zweig was listed on the Hr2 audio book best list in June 2014 .
