Oliver Hans Mommsen (born January 19, 1969 in Düsseldorf ) is a German actor . From 2001 to 2019 he played the Bremen investigator Nils Stedefreund in the crime scene .

Life

Oliver Mommsen is the great-great-grandson of Theodor Mommsen . He first attended the Schloss Salem boarding school in Baden-Württemberg and then moved to the Louisenlund boarding school in Schleswig-Holstein, where he graduated from high school in 1988. He then graduated from Maria Körber's drama school . Engagements in Zurich and Berlin followed . In 2001 Mommsen played alongside Laura Tonke in the feature film Junimond .

After Rufus Beck left the Bremen team after two episodes alongside Sabine Postel as chief inspector Inga Lürsen, three episodes of the TV series Tatort were filmed with changing assistants. Since 2001 Oliver Mommsen has played investigator Nils Stedefreund alongside Sabine Postel. In 2006 he played in the ARD - series The best of my life the role of Max Miller. In 2009 Mommsen appeared in the film Faktor 8 - The day has come as Gregor Hecker. In 2010 he starred in the Sat.1 feature film Are all men pigs alongside Valerie Niehaus . In 2012 he was seen together with Jasmin Gerat in the Sat.1 film Tierisch verknallt . The Bremen crime scene series was discontinued in 2019.

Mommsen is the advertising face in the TV spots for Schöfferhofer Weizenbier .

Mommsen lives in Berlin-Kreuzberg , is married and has two children.

Oliver Mommsen is committed to the SOS Children's Villages from 2005 to 2020 as a sponsor, ambassador and in front of the camera. He is the patron of the Berlin “All Nation Festival”. During a visit to the SOS Children's Village in Nairobi for the VOX “Give me five” campaign, he saw the work on site for himself. In addition, Mommsen repeatedly supported the SOS Children's Villages around the world with the “Children run for children” campaign and in 2012 was involved with a TV commercial for the SOS sponsorship campaign.

He has been an ambassador for the White Ring since 2017 . He supports the aid organization for victims of crime in the context of a poster campaign and video clips, in which other actors from TV commissioners such as Steffen Schroeder and Ulrike Folkerts as well as TV lawyer Ingo Lenßen can be seen.
