Reiff für die Insel is an ARD crime comedy series with Tanja Wedhorn in the role of lawyer Katharina Reiff, which was first broadcast from 2011 to 2015.

After separating from her unfaithful friend, a lawyer, Katharina Reiff moves with her daughter Nele from the big city to the island of Föhr to her mother Marianne, who runs a holiday pension there. She would like to finish her distance learning law course there in peace (which she succeeds in the course of the series) and at the same time get her helper syndrome under control. However, this turns out to be almost impossible because, also in the context of her work as a lawyer, she repeatedly comes across people who need her help. She gets support from her old friend and former island policeman Thies Quedens.

Most of the shooting took place in Nieblum and Wyk auf Föhr . The house Redlefsen (Hamburger Wäldchen) is shown as a holiday pension.
A special feature of the series are the musical interludes by the actors at the end of the film. Main actor Jan-Gregor Kremp often sings himself.
