Dietrich Hollinderbäumer
Dietrich Hollinderbäumer (born August 16, 1942 in Essen ) is a German - Swedish actor .
Life
The maternal branch of Hollinderbäumer's family comes from Sweden. His mother came to Germany when part of the family emigrated and there met Hollinderbäumer's father. After the war, the parents separated and the mother moved to Stockholm in 1951 with nine-year-old Dietrich and his two-year-old brother .
Hollinderbäumer therefore speaks German and Swedish at a native level, he still feels very connected to Sweden and also has a Swedish passport. He received his training as an actor at the Royal Dramatic Theater in Stockholm under the direction of Stig Torslow and Ingmar Bergman . He had his first theater engagement from 1968 to 1972 as an actor, assistant director and director at the Westphalian State Theater in Castrop-Rauxel. This was followed by positions in Kiel, at the German and Young Theater in Göttingen and at the Theater im Zimmer in Hamburg. 1978–1983 he was a permanent member of the Städtische Bühnen Heidelberg as an actor and director . 1983–1988 he was a member of the ensemble at the Burgtheater Vienna . Since then he has worked as a freelance actor, a. a. in Vienna ( Theater in der Josefstadt , Volkstheater Vienna ), at the Schauspiel Bonn, at the Theater Bremen , at the Schauspielhaus Zurich and at the Ernst-Deutsch-Theater in Hamburg.
In the cinema, Hollinderbäumer was seen in Georg Elser - Eine aus Deutschland (1989) by Klaus Maria Brandauer and Der Untergang (2004) by Oliver Hirschbiegel . He had theater engagements at the Theater der Stadt Heidelberg , the Burgtheater Vienna and the Schauspiel Bonn .
Hollinderbäumer played the co-leading role of the client Kaun alongside Matthias Koeberlin as the archeology student Steffen Vogt in the two-part television rating success Das Jesus Video from 2002 .
From 2005 to 2020 Hollinderbäumer played Bastian Pastewka's father Volker in the Sat.1 comedy series Pastewka . In the RTL comedy series Alles Atze he had a guest appearance as a gay acquaintance of Atze's mother-in-law. He was back on the big screen in 2008 when he played a German sports promoter in the Swedish comedy Men in Water . Since 2009 Hollinderbäumer is a correspondent Ulrich von Heesen in the ZDF - satire show -show today to see.
In 2013, Hollinderbäumer was nominated for the German Comedy Prize in the category of best actor alongside Bastian Pastewka and Bjarne Mädel ; the award finally went to Pastewka.
Dietrich Hollinderbäumer has two children who are also actors and producers.
