action

Sabine Waldmann suffers from a special form of autism , Asperger's Syndrome . Although she is gifted in mathematics, she lacks emotional intelligence . She takes proverbs and jokes literally, which leads to unpleasant misunderstandings with those around her. Her mother was the only one who accepted her for who she is. After her death, she was left with only her father, with whom she did not want to have any relationship. When he dies, too, is said to inherit a lake property that she wants to sell. This inheritance leads her to Masuria , where she meets the carer of her father, Dorota, her brother Marek and her mother Marta. Here, too, their behavior causes some question marks. With her absurd bills she calculates, for example, that two and a half bottles of vodka flow at a family festival in an ordinary Polish village . Again it seems not understood by all people. Only Marek seems to empathize with the somewhat different Sabine by showing empathy for her.
