Christina Große (born September 23, 1970 in Blankenhain ) is a German actress .

Life

Christina Große is the daughter of a pastor. She grew up with three brothers in Saalfeld. She was not allowed to study in the GDR and therefore first learned the profession of psychiatry deacon , before studying acting at the Babelsberg Film School from 1990 to 1994 . In 1992 she received the sponsorship award for acting students. During her studies she made her debut at the Deutsches Theater in Berlin.

At first she played at various theaters in Berlin, and one of her most important theater directors was Armin Petras . After her film debut in Ein Schiff wirdommen (2003), she shifted her work to film and television. She used a wide variety of genre opportunities to orientate herself, e.g. B. the cinema comedy The Kings of Timber Production , several crime scenes, various television thrillers, but also TV series such as. B. the comedy series The Little Man . The latter was nominated for the German Comedy Prize in 2009.

Since the film Für Elise , for which she received a pre-nomination for Lola , she has regularly appeared in leading roles in both the cinema and on television.

In 2014 she received the award from the German Academy for Television for the best leading role in the film Neufeld, come with me!

In 2015 she was nominated for the Grimmepreis Spezial in the productions Neufeld, come along! ( WDR ), Spreewaldkrimi: Mörderische Wärme ( ZDF ), Be my Baby (ZDF) and other productions from the broadcast year 2014.

Christina Große lives with her two sons in Berlin.
