Glück is a film drama by director Doris Dörrie from 2012 with Alba Rohrwacher and Vinzenz Kiefer in the leading roles. The world premiere took place on February 15, 2012 as part of the Berlin Film Festival . Dörrie had previously received the director's award at the Bavarian Film Award 2011 for the film . The film is based on the short story of the same name by Ferdinand von Schirach and is taken from his volume of short stories , Verbrechen , published in 2009 , which is based on real cases.

Traumatized by the civil war in her home country, the young woman Irina flees to Berlin from an unspecified Eastern European country . While she survived as a prostitute, she met and fell in love with the unemployed punk Kalle. She takes him in her rented apartment. One day, Kalle finds the body of a suitor in Irina's apartment, cuts it up in the bathroom and "buries" it in a park. After the police arrest them, the lawyer Noah Leyden takes over the defense, whom Irina met in a car crash at the beginning of the film. In the end, both are acquitted because the suitor, as the autopsy showed, died of a heart attack.
