action

The computer game designer Peter Fischer and his wife Nina split up after 17 years of marriage. He moves out of the common house and moves into the garden shed just a few meters away. The couple is determined to separate in friendship, especially because of the children they have together, who they want to look after together in the future. However, it is Nina who is driving the divorce forward. Peter is amazed to see that he was wrong when he believed that his still-wife would soon be settled again. An especially painful process begins for him. During the course of the film, Nina meets the dentist Thorben and Peter the teacher Julia.

Reviews

"(TV) comedy about a man in crisis, who has never learned to grow up and is now being caught up with by reality."

“This story of separation from director Christoph Schnee [...] is designed as a comedy, but also skillfully shows the tragic moments in the complex network of relationships. Realized based on a book by David Ungureit [...] and Marc Terjung [...], Matthias Koeberlin and Julia Richter show in their multi-layered leading roles that life can go on positively even after a failed marriage. "

“Oh dear, this TV film wants to be hip and contemporary: Agent Jack Bauer ('Der aus, 24'? ') And the cult series' Mad Men' are mentioned, and father and son say goodbye like Mr. Spock before going to sleep. And to come across as cheeky, one abruptly mixes in every ten minutes a 'Fuck me!' Slogan in the otherwise staid comedy, which is really annoying with old 'woman at the wheel' jokes. Bright spots: Julia Koschitz as a distinctive teacher and the nicely tricked opening credits. "
