Simon Böer (born October 15, 1974 in Bonn ) is a German actor .

Life

After graduating from high school and doing community service , he studied acting from 1996 to 1999 at the Konrad Wolf University of Film and Television in Potsdam- Babelsberg. During his studies Böer made his acting debut in Berlin on the stages of the Tacheles and the theater under the roof . After his acting training, engagements followed at the Deutsches Theater Berlin (inter alia with Einar Schleef in Betrayed People ) and at the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe (as Amphitryon with Johanna Schall ). In 2002 Böer worked as a freelancer on Berlin theaters, such as the Volksbühne in Tim Staffel's production of house arrest , and am bat as Jason in Anna Bergmann's production of Tom Lanoye's Mamma Medea .

Simon Böer is married and has a daughter and a son. He is committed to Kindernothilfe and DKMS . Motorcycling is one of his personal passions. In 2015 he fulfilled a childhood dream and appeared next to star clown Andrej Jigalov in the Bonn Christmas Circus. At the end of 2017, he expressed the wish to play theater more often in the future.

Career

Simon Böer first appeared in front of the camera in 2000 in the short film Every Day . Since 2002 he has appeared in television series such as ( The elephant - Mord never prescribes , Nikola , Wolffs Revier , Balko , Dr. Sommerfeld - Neues vom Bülowbogen , Everything except sex , SOKO Wismar , Der Landarzt and Polizeiruf 110 ). He also takes on the recurring role of Dr. Phillip Rost on emergency call harbor edge . From 2007 he was cast in leading roles in the series Couples and Alone Among Peasants . He was also part of the investigative team in Stolberg as a pathologist .

It was broadcast daily from December 1st to December 24th of the following year and received positive reviews, especially for Boer's portrayal. In 2017 the actor took on guest roles in several TV series and series such as Tatort , Frühling , Alarm für Cobra 11 - Die Autobahnpolizei and the popular children's series Siebenstein . In the 5th season of the series Dr. Klein took on a male lead.
