David Ungureit

David Ungureit (* 1964 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German screenwriter . He lives in Frankfurt.

Life and work

David Ungureit studied German and American studies as well as theater; Film and television studies. He trained his skills in dramaturgical and comedic writing in seminars by František "Frank" Daniel and the screenwriter and comedy expert John Vorhaus .

At the beginning of the 1990s Ungureit was a sketch writer for the radio broadcasts Radio Unfrisiert and Radio Gaga of the Hessischer Rundfunk . He then switched to screenwriting for television. He wrote the story concept and over 40 episodes of the weekly soap series Die Anrheiner . Since 2000 he has been temporarily headwriter for the hospital series Alphateam and its spin-off Broti and Pacek. He adapted several of Grimm's fairy tales for ARD and wrote most of the episodes in the children's series Rennschwein Rudi Rüssel .

For the cinema he wrote the screenplay for Männerhort together with Rainer Ewerrien, based on the play of the same name by the German-Icelandic author Kristof Magnusson .

He is represented by the media agency of the publishing house of the authors .
