action

Berlin , in the near future. In addition to everyday crime , the capital is plagued by an ever-increasing problem: what to do with the numerous dementia sufferers who wander around the streets and disrupt public life? The retirement homes are grappling with the shortage of care . Mobile emergency services collect the confused old people - but where should they go? The private institute Exsolvo advertises a "new", groundbreaking idea: peaceful, accompanied dying like in the old days. The journalist Jens Kurzhals ("JK"), who also takes care of his demented father, is supposed to provide the necessary publicity in the service of Exsolvo. As an old lady whose “home tour” is supposed to be staged like a commercial , but then suddenly disappears, JK sets off.

criticism

"(TV) drama about topics such as an aging society, dementia, the wish to die and assisted dying, which defines a social gray area, whereby ultimately love and the plea for aging with dignity prevail."
