Simon Eckert
Simon Eckert (born May 14, 1981 in Berlin ) is a German actor .
Life
From 2003 to 2007 Eckert completed an acting training at the "Ernst Busch" Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin . He played at the Deutsches Theater Berlin , the Burgtheater Vienna and the Schauspiel Köln Theater , among others .
In addition to his stage work, he can also be seen in various film and television productions. He had his first film role in 2009 as Roger in Lila, Lila , a film adaptation of the novel by Martin Suter . Since 2009 he can also be seen regularly in various SOKO broadcast formats in guest roles. In the film series Lotta he played Lukas, who unintentionally becomes a father after a one-night stand with the title character played by Josefine Preuss . In 2011, he played a forensic doctor in two episodes in the ZDF crime series Marie Brand . From 2012 to 2020, alongside Rainer Hunold and Fiona Coors in the ZDF crime series Der Staatsanwalt, he took on the role of Chief Detective Christian Schubert, who was replaced by Detective Superintendent Max Fischer, played by Max Hemmersdorfer , from season 15 .
He lives in Berlin .
