Judith, in her late twenties, young professional, child therapist, moved to Berlin three weeks ago. It was planned that her boyfriend Christian would come to the shared apartment, but he did not answer. At her new job, Judith has to take special care of Konrad, Linus and Nele. Konrad is 6 years old, is about to start school and goes to bed almost every day. Linus, 9 years old, likes to kick around in order to gain respect from others. Nele, 13 years old, goes her own way and doesn't let the adults tell her anything, skips school, smokes, and runs away from home. Judith tries to help the children in her own way, but rarely gets understanding from her boss and her colleagues for her approach. Then a humpback whale got lost in the Baltic Sea and can't make it back to the Atlantic. Everyone is looking for orientation, for the right way out of a crisis, out of phases of irritation.
