Robert Gwisdek (born January 29, 1984 in East Berlin ) is a German actor , musician and author . As a musician he is known by the stage name Käptn Peng and is part of the alternative hip-hop band Käptn Peng & Die Tentakel von Delphi .

Life

Robert Gwisdek is the son of actor Michael Gwisdek and actress Corinna Harfouch .

At the age of five he was under the direction of his father for the first time in front of the camera. In 1999 he played in Anno Saul's quiet drama Green Desert about a shy childhood friendship alongside Martina Gedeck , Ulrich Noethen and Heino Ferch, the role of the cancer-stricken boy Johann. From 2002 to 2006 he completed the acting course at the University of Film and Television "Konrad Wolf" (HFF) in Potsdam and had his first major engagements during this time, including in the feature film NVA or in Donna-Leon - TV crime thriller Secret Channels (both 2005), as well as the graduation film Berliner Reigen (2006).

Music projects

Gwisdek is known as a musician of alternative hip-hop under the pseudonym Käptn Peng . From 2009 to 2012 he ran the hip-hop project shaban feat with his older half-brother Johannes ("Shaban") .
