Life

After training as a dental technician , Findeis studied comparative literature , psychology and communication research at the University of Bonn . From 2003 to 2006 he attended the German Literature Institute in Leipzig .

The chapters of his novel No Beautiful Land appeared in the literary magazines Edit and Language in the Technical Age in 2007 and 2008 , and with another excerpt from the novel, he won the 3sat Prize of the Ingeborg Bachmann Prize (endowed with 7,500 euros) in 2008 .
