Friederike Ott (* 1983 in Cologne ) is a German actress .

Life

Friederike Ott was born in Cologne as the daughter of a child and youth psychiatrist and an interpreter. She studied acting at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Frankfurt am Main . In the second year of study she was engaged as a guest at the Schauspiel Frankfurt (2007), further guest engagements at the Deutsches Theater Berlin (2008) and the Stadttheater Koblenz (2008) followed.

Her first permanent engagement took her to the Staatstheater Wiesbaden under Manfred Beilharz in 2009 . In 2011 Martin Kušej engaged her permanently at the Residenztheater in Munich . There she worked a. a. with Calixto Bieito , Thomas Birkmeir , Gísli Örn Garðarsson , Suse Wächter, David Bösch and Herbert Fritsch .

In 2013 she received the Bavarian Art Prize in the Performing Arts category and the Kurt Meisel Prize from the Friends of the Residenztheater. She worked in various film and television productions, so she took over a. a. one of the leading roles in the episode in the Munich Tatort - Death is our whole life (director: Philip Koch ) and played in the ZDF series Unter Verdacht at the side of Senta Berger and Ulrich Noethen (director: Ulrich Zrenner )

She has been a permanent member of the Schauspiel Frankfurt ensemble since 2017 .
