The show Capriccio is the culture magazine of the Bavarian television , which is currently broadcast every Tuesday from 10 p.m. to 10.30 p.m. The cultural magazine Capriccio has been broadcast since 1987 .

Sylvia Griss, Lars Friedrich, Franz Xaver Karl and Armin Kratzert are editorially responsible for the show .

The title music in the opening credits comes from the aria "Lascia ch'io pianga" ("Let me lament my lot with tears") from the opera Rinaldo by Georg Friedrich Handel .
