Armin Kratzert
Armin Kratzert (born June 22, 1957 in Augsburg ) is a German writer , critic and journalist .
Life
Growing up in Stephanskirchen and Rosenheim , where he attended Finsterwalder High School, Kratzert studied theater studies , art history and German at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich. He works as an editor for Bayerischer Rundfunk , where he is one of the initiators of the cultural program Capriccio and the ARD book program Druckfrisch and headed the literary magazine KleinesZeichen on Bavarian TV , for which he interviewed hundreds of authors. a. HC Artmann , Hans Magnus Enzensberger , Peter Esterhazy , Lars Gustafsson , Alexander Kluge , Christian Kracht , Friederike Mayröcker , Cees Nooteboom , Christoph Ransmayr , Peter Sloterdijk and Martin Walser . In addition, Kratzert produces documentaries about literature and art. As a curator he was a. a. with the exhibition “Kafka's World” in the Literaturhaus in Munich .
As an author, Armin Kratzert writes poems, plays and novels. Peter Handke says of Kratzert's narrative style: “I have seldom encountered nonchalance in writing so positively or airy or permeable. And at the same time you can feel seriousness and seriousness still and still. "

In 2003 Kratzert was awarded the LiteraVision Prize for his work . In 2005 he was a finalist for the Alfred Döblin Prize . In 2012 he was elected to the PEN Center Germany .
Kratzert lives with his wife, Sandra Hoffmann (writer) , in Munich and a village in Lower Bavaria.
