Sandra Hoffmann (writer)

Sandra Hoffmann (born May 11, 1967 in Laupheim , Baden-Wuerttemberg ) is a German writer .

Life

After training as a youth and home educator, Sandra Hoffmann worked in child and youth psychiatry . From 1993 to 1998 she studied literature , medieval and Italian studies at the University of Tübingen ; she completed her studies with a master's degree . From 1998 to 2002 she was a research assistant at the Tübingen chair for comparative literature , and since 2003 she has been a freelance writer . For 10 years she organized and moderated the series of readings she founded (together with Björn Kern) “buch & bühne” at the Landestheater Tübingen . In 2004 she took part in the Ingeborg Bachmann Competition in Klagenfurt. Since 2010 she has been a lecturer at the Center for Applied Cultural Studies and General Studies (ZAK) of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). She works freelance for radio stations and the Literaturhaus München.

Sandra Hoffmann lives in Munich.
