LiteraVision - Television Prize of the City of Munich

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The LiteraVision Prize of the City of Munich has been awarded since 1991 (biennial since 2008) for exemplary television programs about books and authors.

The prize is advertised in the entire German-speaking area, awarded in the categories of short and long film and is endowed with 5000 euros each.

An expert jury set up by the Munich city council serves as a preliminary jury, which makes a shortlist of the entries. In a two-day public jury meeting (with an expert jury and commissioners from the city council) the selected films will be shown and discussed and the winners will be chosen. The award ceremony will take place after the jury meeting.
