The Baden-Württemberg-Scholarship (own spelling: Baden-Württemberg-STIPENDIUM) of the Baden-Württemberg Foundation is aimed at schoolchildren, enrolled students and postgraduates of all disciplines at state universities in Baden-Württemberg and their international partner universities, as well as professionals with a non-academic degree. Good to very good applicants are encouraged. The aim is to expand the technical and intercultural competence of the scholarship holders through a study / research stay abroad or in Baden-Württemberg .

The Baden-Württemberg Scholarship consists of six program lines:

For students
The aim of this program is to promote the international exchange of highly qualified German and foreign students. In addition, contacts between Baden-Württemberg and international universities are being strengthened.
For students
As part of this program, students between the ages of 15 and 18 are supported with a scholarship abroad: This enables the scholarship holders to think outside the box for a school year, make new friends and develop their foreign language skills. The focus of this program is on the countries of Central and Eastern Europe.
For working people
The Baden-Württemberg scholarship for employed people supports stays abroad in the form of company internships and / or school training. Interested parties from Baden-Württemberg and professionals from abroad with above-average, non-academic qualifications can apply.

The film production project line promotes the participation of students from the Ludwigsburg Film Academy in a workshop in Los Angeles or at the French film school La fémis in Paris.

To further support these activities of the Baden-Württemberg Foundation , the Association of Scholarship Holders and Friends of Baden-Württemberg-STIPENDIUM e. V. founded.
