Peter Menne (* 1962 in Unna ) is a German production designer , set designer , painter and musician.

Life

Menne studied fine art and stage design at the State Art Academy in Düsseldorf with Tony Cragg and Luise Kimme . Later he worked in Australia, Indochina, India, Nepal, North - Central Africa, North and South America, the Orient and other countries for several years.

There have been art exhibitions by Peter Menne in Germany, the Netherlands, Austria and Australia. Peter Menne created illustrations, a. a. for the magazines Tempo and Playboy .

In 1976 Peter Menne started working as a set designer and graphic artist at Hoffmanns Comic Teater (with Peter Möbius , Rio Reiser , Claudia Roth , Rainer Pause, among others ). He made sets for over 45 productions in Hamburg, Berlin, Dortmund, Essen, Cologne, Tübingen, among others. He worked with the following directors: Kees Campfens (NL), Tony Glaser (USA), Nada Kokotović (HR), Peter Möbius (D), Helmut Palitsch (A) and Eddy Vereyken (B).
