Dominikus Probst
Dominikus Probst (born August 9, 1958 in St. Georgen in the Black Forest ) is a German cameraman and film director .
Life
Probst studied in 1978 at the Bavarian Institute for Photography in Munich.
Then from 1981 to 1982 worked at Circus Hundertfleck, various theater courses at the Berlin Theaterhaus, acting lessons with Ellen Mahlke .
From 1984 to 1986 various camera assistants a. a. with Lutz Konermann, Tom Fährmann, first camera work for WDR and with Christoph Schlingensief .
From 1986 to 1990 studies at the Munich Film School (HFF), shooting several documentaries for WDR, working with Christoph Schlingensief, graduating in 1990 directing Cafe de L'Union .
Since 1990 Probst has directed television films and series for various German broadcasters. Dominikus Probst has three children with the actress and author Irene Fischer .
