Irene Fischer (born December 24, 1959 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German actress and screenwriter . She became known as Anna Ziegler in Lindenstrasse .

Life

After graduating from the Birklehof boarding school in 1979 , she trained as an actress in Munich and Prague from 1979 to 1983 . Fischer then took to the stage at the Munich Residenztheater , where she worked with the director Ingmar Bergman , among others .

She had her first role in 1963 in the film Die Baldkopfbande . In 1975 she worked in DEFA production. The prosecutor has the floor : Help Maik with. In 1984 she took on the female lead in Christoph Schlingensief's experimental film Tunguska - The boxes are there .

From 1999 to 2016, she also worked as a screenwriter for the series. Together with Dorothee Schön , she previously wrote the scripts for the feature film Boomerang-Boomerang (1989, director: Hans W. Geißendörfer ) and the television film Dr. Mad (1997, directed by Jürgen Bretzinger ).

Fischer, whose role in Lindenstrasse was the mother of a boy with Down's syndrome , has been committed to helping people affected by this particular genetic predisposition for several years together with her former Lindenstrasse colleague Joachim Hermann Luger . In 2013 she was the ambassador of the Federal Anti-Discrimination Agency for people with disabilities.

Fischer is married to Dominikus Probst , a director from Lindenstrasse . The couple has three children and lives in Kirchzarten near Freiburg im Breisgau .
